Kansas State's best players from the State of Missouri

The K-State Fan

247 Sports has a recruit feature where you can sort all-time high school recruits by state. For Missouri, the list looks like this:

#1 Barrett Brooks OT 1991-1994  Florissant, MO  A 2nd Team All American (Sporting News) in 1994. 1st team all Big 8 in 1994, 2nd team  all Big 8 in 1993. Drafted in the 2nd round of the 1995 NFL Draft

#2 David Allen RB 1997-2000 Liberty, MO Consensus All American as a return man in 1998. Tied NCAA record for most career punt return TDs with 7. Set NCAA record for most PR TDs in consecutive games with 3.

#3 Jordan Willis DE 2013-2016 Kansas City, MO Big 12 defensive player of the year & 2nd team All American (Sporting News & Pro Football Focus) in 2016. Tied K-State record for most sacks in a season (11.5). Drafted in the 3rd round of the 2017 NFL draft.

#4 Josh Freeman QB 2006-2008  Grandview, MO  Set Kansas State records for passing yards (season & career), and for career passing TDs. Drafted in the 1st round of the 2009 NFL draft.

#5 Ryan Young OT 1995-1999 Chesterfield, MO   1st Team all Big 12 (1998) 3rd team all Big 12 (1996 & 1997). Drafted in the 7th round of the 1999 NFL draft.

#6 Elijah Lee LB 2014-2016 Blue Springs, MO  1st team all Big 12 (2016), 2nd team all Big 12 (2015). Set K-State record for most sacks by a true freshman in 2014. Drafted in the 7th round of the 2017 NFL draft.

#7 JJ Smith RB 1991-1994 Raytown, MO  Left K-State with the record for most rushing yards in a career, most 100 yard rushing games, and most rushing yards in a game.

No. 1-3

I think I'd go with Allen, Freeman, Willis, Lee. I have a hard time putting offensive linemen at the top of any "best players" list.

Allen, Brooks, Freeman, Willis

I think I'd go Freeman, Allen, Willis, Brooks - this is a pretty strong list though
