Meet your 2019 Recruit: Cooper Beebe, DT, Kansas

Cooper Beebe is the athlete every big guy wishes they were: speed, athleticism, and rare quickness make him a can't miss prospect for Kansas State

Maybe I'm the only one that gets this way - but sometimes when I watch someone on film, I end up watching it on loop over and over again because I'm so mesmerized.

Cooper Beebe has film like that.

He is a 6'3", 329lb beast of a defensive linemen with speed and quickness to close fast and consistently on smaller, more agile skill players.

He officially clocked at a disappointing 5.50 40 yard dash - but you can see in the film above that when he lines up as a running back he literally outruns the secondary and linebackers to the end zone. He doesn't run through them, he runs by them. I'm skeptical that 5.5 is the fastest he's got.

Couple that with an elite level first step and an explosive burst that closes the backfield in a hurry, and you've got the elements for an unbelievable talent. And that's Beebe.

The Cats beat out the Jayhawks and Minnesota to land this Kansas City, Kansas prospect, but the really story is that he was also garnering interest from Georgia and Iowa State.

This kid is special - and you should be excited about seeing him in Manhattan.
