Wildcats in Waiting, 2020: Will Howard, Pro Style QB, Pennsylvania

Is Pennsylvania quarterback the next starting signal caller for your Kansas State Wildcats? We look at the 2020 class's ace in the hole.

Coach Chris Klieman may have landed his most important 2020 recruit in June with the commitment of quarterback Will Howard.

The Downington West High School product stands 6'3" and weighs in at 210 pounds. He is the 9th ranked Pennsylvania prospect and the 37th overall pro style quarterback nationally in the 2020 class.

What stands out most about Klieman securing this commitment is that he's a pro style quarterback, who was heavily recruited, and is not from the midwest or south. It took a lot of time and energy to secure the quarterback, and Klieman and company came out victorious.

Not only was Howard considering offers from other Power-5 programs: Maryland, Kansas, Minnesota, Cincinnati; but he was also weighing offers from Ivy League schools: Harvard, Yale.

Accuracy and footwork stand out most to me when watching Howard's film. He is one of the more polished pro-style quarterbacks I've seen come to Kansas State.
