Louisville football faces Miami in a conference road game with bowl eligibility at stake for both teams. The Cardinals are coming off a bye week while Miami defeated Florida State last week.

Miami wins the toss, elects to differ until the second half, Louisville will receive the opening kickoff. 

Hassan Hall takes a knee in the endzone, Louisville starts its opening possession on the 25-yard-line. 

Tutu Atwell takes a toss from Micale Cunningham 19 yards for a first down, brings the ball near midfield. 

12:27 first quarter, a Cunningham pass falls incomplete thrown toward Dez Fitzpatrick on a third-and-5, Mason King sends a punt to the 8-yard-line, Miami will take over. 

Miami quarterback Jarren Williams and Mike Harley are connecting, Harley has four receptions for 57 yards. 

9:32 first quarter, Miami leads Louisville 7-0. DeeJay Dallas scores from five yards. Miami's offense had no problem moving the ball down the field, going 92 yards in seven plays. 

9:22 first quarter, Louisville takes over on the 13-yard-line.

8:44 first quarter, Tutu Atwell fumbles after a reception, Louisville recovers. The Cardinal flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct after the play, Louisville has four penalties already.

7:04 first quarter, Atwell goes 80 yards on a reception on third-and-3, Louisville and Miami tied 7-7. It was a shallow crossing route, Cunningham dumped off a pass and Atwell did the rest.

6:58 first quarter, Miami takes over on the 32-yard-line. The Hurricanes used Williams' arm in the opening drive. 

6:49 first quarter, Dee Wiggins catches a 67-yard touchdown from Williams on the first play of the drive, Miami leads Louisville 14-7. Cardinal cornerback Marlon Character got turned around and it was an easy touchdown.  

Atwell's 80-yard touchdown and Wiggins' 67-yard touchdown are the longest plays offensively for each team this season.

4:59 first quarter, K.J. Osborn returns a punt 38 yards, Miami takes over on the 13-yard-line. Louisville had a quick three-and-out. 

4:49 first quarter, Dallas takes a screen pass 13 yards for a touchdown, Miami leads Louisville 21-7. The Hurricanes score one play after Osborn's long punt return.

After Cunningham is taken down six yards behind the line of scrimmage on first down, Javian Hawkins picks up a much needed first down for Louisville's offense. 

Mekhi Becton is on the ground, walking off the field with assistance. The junior would be a huge loss for Louisville's offensive line, he has started since his freshman year at left tackle. 

Cunnigham picks up 17 yards on a third-and-11, another big first down for Louisville, bringing the ball near midfield. 

1:14 first quarter, Hall goes 25 yards, Louisville inside the 10-yard-line. 

End of the first quarter, Miami leads Louisville 21-7. The Cardinals have the ball on the Hurricane 6-yard-line, facing a second down. Miami has plenty of big plays in the first quarter and has held much of the momentum, but Louisville could settle in if it can score inside the red zone when the second quarter begins. 

Becton is being carted off the field, a big loss for Louisville. He is the best lineman, Adonis Boone will replace Becton at left tackle against a Miami front that is pressuring Louisville. 

14:21 second quarter, Ean Pfiefer catches a 6-yard touchdown from Cunningham, Miami leads Louisville 21-14. The Cardinals really needed that score to slow down an onslaught of momentum. Louisville goes 80 yards in 10 plays in 5:28.

11:04 second quarter, Wiggins catches his second touchdown, from 10 yards, Miami has no problem answering Louisville. The Hurricanes lead Louisville 28-14. Williams is picking apart Louisville's secondary, the quarterback has three touchdown throws in his last four passes. 

9:24 second quarter, Miami forces a stop, King punts the ball 27 yards, the Hurricanes will take over just north of the 40-yard-line. 

8:40 second quarter, Louisville's defense forces a stop following an incomplete pass on third-and-7. Miami will punt. 

8:34 second quarter, Louisville takes over on the 14-yard-line. 

Louisville can't do anything, a quick three-and-out as Cunningham is sacked on third-and-9. Miami's defensive line is timing snaps well, getting a good jump on plays.

6:26 second quarter, Miami blocks Mason King's punt attempt, takes over on the 32-yard-line. 

Williams picks up 12 yards on a third-and-9, Miami inside thte 20-yard-line. 

3:27 second quarter, Will Mallory catches a 17-yard touchdown from Williams, Miami leads Louisville 35-14. Williams rolled to his right, evading pressure and found Mallory open in the end zone. 

1:51 second quarter, facing a fourth-and-3, Louisville flagged for a false start. Nine penalties for 73 yards already for Louisville. 

Seth Dawkins makes a diving catch on the 9-yard-line, a 36-yard reception on fourth-and-8. 

0:43 second quarter, DJ Ivey intercepts a pass in the end zone, Miami stops Louisville's scoring chance. 

Halftime: Miami leads Louisville 35-14. 

Louisville has 264 yards of offense, compared to Miami's 292, which isn't a large disparity considering the 21-point margin. Miami's offense has been efficient and made big plays, Jarren Williams has completed 10 of 14 throws for four touchdown passes for Miami. Louisville has just 48 rushing yards, the Cardinals average 218.1 yards per game. 

11:37 third quarter, Harley catches a touchdown on third-and-5, Miami leads Louisville 42-14. Williams' fifth touchdown throw. 

Hawkins goes 43 yards, Louisville has the ball on the 1-yard-line. 

10:20 third quarter, Cunningham scores from one yard, Miami leads Louisville 42-21, Cardinals go 70 yards in three plays. Hawkins had two carries that went for 69 yards. Hawkins had runs of 26 and 43 yards. 

7:56 third quarter, Louisville's defense forces a Miami punt, but Atwell fumbles the punt and Miami recovers on the 23-yard-line. 

6:59 third quarter, Harley catches a 28-yard touchdown from Williams, Miami leads Louisville 49-21. The Hurricanes capitalize on the fumbled punt.
