Tiger Practice Report: Terrace Marshall doesn't participate in padded practice Tuesday

Logan, Lawrence and Divinity all practice in full pads

When receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. returned to practice Monday, the real question became whether or not he'd practice in full pads on Tuesday.

Marshall wasn't with the receivers for the open portion of padded practice Tuesday, making it highly unlikely he plays this weekend. Marshall, in reality, probably wasn't going to be ready regardless but him practicing on Monday is still a positive sign the sophomore receiver is progressing towards a return.

The 6-foot-3 sophomore underwent surgery after suffering a reported fractured foot in the Tigers 66-38 win over Vanderbilt.

There was good news on the injury front as senior defensive ends Rashard Lawrence and Glen Logan as well as linebacker Michael Divinity all participated in full pads Tuesday. Orgeron said Monday Lawrence and Divinity would practice and the hope was they'd be ready for Saturday's game against the Gators.

Orgeron was less optimistic about Logan on Monday, saying he'd practice on a limited basis. Logan's ankle was heavily taped Tuesday but it's still unclear if he'll be ready for Saturday.

Logan and Lawrence have both been out of the lineup since suffering injuries against Texas.

At practice, the media was shown a new drill with the running backs and defense both taking part in a punch-out drill.

Meanwhile, the defensive backs were using the driveback machine in individual drills.
