Kickoff Time Announced for LSU-Alabama

Tigers will kickoff in Tuscaloosa at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 9

The SEC announced Monday morning that the highly anticipated matchup between No. 2 LSU and No. 1 Alabama will be a day game for the first time since 2010.

The Tigers will travel to Tuscaloosa Nov. 9 for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on CBS the conference announced for what will be LSU's third top-10 game in a month.

LSU of course needs to survive Saturday against No. 9 Auburn but there is a very real chance this will be a one vs two matchup. The last time the Tigers played Alabama in a one vs two matchup was the 2011 "Game of the Century," a game the Tigers won 9-6 in an epic defensive showdown.

One of the big stories to monitor over the next few weeks is the health of Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who suffered a high ankle sprain in the team's win over Tennessee Saturday night. The injury is reported to only keep Tagovailoa out 1-2 weeks which would make him available for the game against the Tigers.
