The Miami Hurricanes look to bounce back when they visit Chapel Hill to take on the surprising Tar Heels. Watch out for these three players to have an impact Saturday.

After a tough and competitive loss to the Florida Gators, Miami travels to UNC Saturday to kick off ACC play. Mack Brown made a successful return to coaching as North Carolina stunned South Carolina 24-20 to start the season. Freshman quarterback Sam Howell led the comeback in the second half with two drives over 95 yards.

Miami will have their hands full on the road against a UNC team that should have some confidence after a solid win. Here are three players for the Hurricanes that could have something to say about the outcome.

Trajan Bandy

Week one saw the debut of the new "305" Turnover Chain which graced our presence four times against the Gators. However Bandy was not one of the recipients, finishing the game with three solo tackles and a pass defensed.

Howell did not throw any picks against South Carolina but did put two fumbles out there, losing one. Bandy is an aggressive corner and will stick his nose in there whether on pass coverage or in run support. If the Hurricanes defense can put the Tar Heels behind the chains on early downs, the Muddy Badger could strike.

Shaq Quarterman

The senior linebacker had a decent game against Florida with four tackles and a fumble recovery. He will need an even more inspired effort against a Carolina ground game that racked up 238 yards in week one. His leadership will also be a factor for a young team facing their first road game of the season.

Miami was solid against the Gators only allowing 50 yards rushing, look for another strong showing from the defense in that department Saturday.

Tate Martell

You would be hard pressed to find a more interesting story in college football than Martell. From his voyage through the transfer portal, to losing out on the QB1 spot, Martell has rolled with the punches so far.

The latest chapter in his journey has taken his talents to the wide receiver room. He has kept his head down and simply worked, his desire to be a contributor seems evident. Martell brings a unique skill set to the receiver spot, perhaps offensive coordinator Dan Enos has a couple trick plays up his sleeve for Martell this week.
