Michigan and Michigan State enter tonight's game at Yost Ice Arena under .500, both limping a bit through the early part of the season, the Wolverines 3-5-2 on the year and the Spartans 3-5-0.

U-M is struggling to score, netting just six goals in its last five games as it has gone, not surprisingly, winless in those contests at 0-4-1. The defense, however, has been strong behind sophomore goalie Strauss Mann. He ranks 14th nationally in allowing just 1.89 goals per game.

Can the Wolverines break out of their scoring slump this weekend when they compete in a home-and-home series with their rival? Assistant coach Billy Muckalt joined "Inside the Huddle with Michael Spath" this week to discuss just that.
