The Michigan State men’s basketball team will make two appearances on ESPN’s College GameDay this year. The Spartans will play at Purdue on Jan. 22, and host Illinois on Feb. 19. Both games will tip at 9 p.m.

Michigan State is the only school in the nation to make two appearances this season. This will mark GameDay’s second trip to East Lansing , as MSU previously hosted from Breslin Center on Feb. 24, 2007, with MSU defeating Indiana , 66-58. Overall, this year will mark the Spartans’ fifth and sixth appearances on GameDay, which ties for the most in the nation and leads all Big Ten schools.

This season, ESPN’s College GameDay will expand to bring an extra hour of analysis, news and features. ESPNU will air the new first hour of GameDay from 10-11 a.m., and ESPN will continue to televise the show from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. with a separate a one-hour edition at 8 p.m. College GameDay will feature show host Rece Davis with returning analysts Jay Bilas, Digger Phelps, Hubert Davis and Bob Knight.
