EAST LANSING, Mich. – Fresh off winning its conference-record sixth Big Ten Tournament title, Michigan State has extended its league record by earning a bid to the NCAA Tournament for the 22nd consecutive season, receiving a No. 2 seed in the East Region.

The Spartans (28-6), winners of both the Big Ten regular season and tournament championships, will face No. 15 seed Bradley (20-14) in the first round on Thursday, March 21 at approximately 2:45 p.m. ET in Des Moines, Iowa, at Wells Fargo Arena. The game will be broadcast on CBS.

Michigan State's streak of 22 straight NCAA Tournaments is not only the longest in Big Ten history, it's also the fourth longest in NCAA history (Kansas, 30; North Carolina, 28; Duke, 24). In addition, MSU's streak is the third-longest active streak in the nation (Kansas, 30; Duke, 24).

Bradley won the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament championship over Northern Iowa, 57-54, on March 10 in St. Louis. It marked Bradley's first MVC Tournament title in 31 years. The Braves are making their ninth NCAA Tournament appearance and first since 2006.

Thursday's game will mark the fifth meeting between Michigan State and Bradley. The Spartans lead the all-time series, 4-0.

No. 7 seed Louisville will face No. 10 seed Minnesota in Des Moines on Thursday.

The East Regional is set for March 29 and March 31 (Friday, Sunday) at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The 2019 Final Four will be held at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on April 6 and April 8 (Saturday, Monday).
