Hondo spoke extensively with Spartan coach Mark Dantonio today at the Big Ten media day. Coach Dantonio confirmed that MSU will have the services of Ishmyl Johnson this fall. Johnson is a speedy defensive end that has the potential to bring an athletic boost the MSU's defensive line. Ishmyl is 6'5" tall and weighs more than 280 pounds. He is explosive and has a knack creating havoc in the backfield. Johnson enrolled at MSU last fall and has been working to improve his academic standing so that he would be able to get on the field for the Spartans this season. Ishmyl has accomplished the necessary requirements needed to be eligible to compete in fall camp. This is a HUGE shot in the arm for the MSU DL. Congrats Ishmyl... we are all excited about your Spartan debut.
