20 MI OL/DL Jeremiah Webb Talks MSU Visit

Many are aware of the star power that East Kentwood (MI) possesses in its 2019 class in star lineman Logan Brown (committed to Wisconsin) and Mazi Smith (uncommitted), but the Falcons also have a rising star in 2020 lineman Jeremiah Webb.

Webb, a 6-foot-1, 240-pound lineman, capable of playing on either side of the ball, took a visit to East Lansing recently and recapped his time on campus with Spartan Nation.

“It was absolutely amazing,” he said. “The practice was amazing, watching it and taking some lessons from them for myself.”

During his visit, Webb had the opportunity to speak with #5 Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio and said that the two spoke about the upcoming season and beyond for the Spartans.

“He was just talking about the team and what they have planned for MSU and what they have planned for this season,” he said. “They have a lot in store.”

Webb, who noted that his family ‘has always loved Michigan State’ also told Spartan Nation that he’d like to camp at Michigan State this summer, but nothing is set in stone at the moment.

While he hasn’t landed an offer yet, it’s only a matter of time before Webb picks up his first offer and the standout lineman said that a potential offer from Michigan State would obviously be a welcome one.

“It would actually mean a lot,” he said. “Right now, I’m working on my first Division 1 offer and Michigan State is huge. My brother went there. I’ll definitely show interest, even though there’s other schools and things like that.”

Webb is in no rush to make a decision on his college future and anticipates making his choice at some point during his senior year, which is still over a year from now.

When he does reach the college level, Webb said he is comfortable playing on either side of the ball and is more focused on which school where he feels most comfortable when making his decision.

“Wherever they feel comfortable putting me,” he said. “I’m going to be the best I can be at that position.”
