Michigan State’s 2020 recruiting class got a big boost on Wednesday night after head coach Mark Dantonio and the Spartans landed the commitment of Chantilly (VA) Westfield 3-star quarterback Noah Kim.

“I am beyond blessed to be in the position I am now,” Kim wrote on Twitter. “God has guided me in the direction to get me where I am and I couldn’t be more thankful for everyone’s support. My family and I make the best decisions for me no matter what and without them, I wouldn’t be where I’m at. With that being said I will be committing to Michigan State University. Go Green.”

It’s been a whirlwind couple of weeks for Kim, who originally committed to Virginia Tech back in May, but received an offer from the Spartans on October 23rd and de-committed from the Hokies shortly after.

Following news of Kim decommitting from Virginia Tech, the 6-foot-2, 180-pound signal-caller took an official visit to East Lansing this past Saturday and was on campus for the Penn State game.

Along with offers from Virginia Tech and Michigan State, Kim also received offers from Western Michigan, Howard, Holy Cross, and Fordham.

Rated as the No. 52 ranked quarterback in the country for the 2020 class according to 247 Sports, Kim will join a quarterbacks group consisting of Rocky Lombardi, Theo Day and Payton Thorne when he arrives on campus with senior starter Brian Lewerke set to graduate following this season.

Kim is the second commitment Michigan State has landed this month, joining Powder Springs (GA) McEachern 3-star running back Jordon Simmons, who picked the Spartans a couple of weeks ago.
