Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio comments on the retirement of Michigan’s Lloyd Carr:

“Lloyd Carr did a tremendous job in his 13 years as head coach at Michigan. His record speaks for itself: five Big Ten championships, four Rose Bowl appearances and a national championship. What’s most impressive to me is the way his former players talk about him and the positive impact that he has had on their lives. I don’t know Coach Carr very well, but there’s no question that he’s a great person. I congratulate him on his retirement and wish him the best of luck in the future.”
