MSU WR Darrell Stewart Post Loss to OSU

Michigan State Spartan WR Darrell Stewart Talks After the Michigan State Spartans Blowout Loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes

East Lansing, MI

Darrell Stewart will certainly get the chance to catch passes on Sunday.  The Michigan State Spartan star is a classy young man and a super good football player.  But when he came into the press room in the Horseshoe on early Sunday morning to talk after the Spartans 34-10 blowout loss, he couldn't hide his disappointment.

The usually sure-handed wideout struggled with some drop passes while dazzling with some amazing catches and plays.  While he played well, it was not his best night, nor his team.

The Spartans offense continues to struggle (It has for years) against any opponent with a pulse of talent and the blame for that rests not on the multi-talented players, but the coaches.

While Dantonio continues to hammer home the point of player execution, and he is correct, these are the same players he told us this offseason were back and experienced and that was a reason for hope.

The one constant has been the staff.  Dantonio chose, despite having an Athletic Director in Bill Beekman who would have and would give him whatever he wanted, to keep that staff that has seen their production numbers plummet over the years.

The above video of Stewart talking after the game takes the fans inside the tangible disappointment of a great young man.
