Cowboys trying to move up in draft before Detroit.

Multiple sources and now one directly connected to the Cowboys told me this morning that they are trying to move ahead of the Lions in the April 2006 NFL draft.  The Cowboys are trying to do that so that they can move ahead of the Lions in order to select University of Texas Longhorn Mike Huff. Huff is a stud athlete. He can hit like fellow Horn and current NFL best safety and Cowboy Roy Williams. The 8 teams ahead of Detroit are all willing to trade their pick the issue is that the Cowboys don't want to move to far ahead and have to pay the "slotted" money that those picks closer to #1 get.  Remember that the higher you get picked, obviously the more jack you get. Keep and eye on Spartan Nation for your draft perspective.
