Lions make some changes to the roster today:
The Lions today continued to bolster their roster.Â
Â
- The Lions released WR Craphonso Thorpe.
- They wasted no time in adding CB Ike Charlton (6’, 195) who was a trying out at the last OTA. He played in the NFL for four seasons and spent that last two campaigns in the CFL for the Winnepeg Bombers.
- They also added another CB in Tony Beckham. He is 6-1 and also weighs 195. He also used the last Lions OTA as a tryout and he comes to the D after playing for Tennessee from 02-05 and he as out of football last season.
- Finally the Lions added a WR in Kevn Kasper. He is a familiar name having played two games for the Lions last season.
Â
None of the moves are earth shattering but they will add some depth with camps coming up and will allow these guys a chance to compete for a job.
