LIONS PLACE RB SHAWN BRYSON ON THE RESERVE/INJURED LIST; MAKE OTHER ROSTER MOVES

Allen Park, Mich. - The Lions announced today that they have placed RB Shawn Bryson on the Reserve/Injured list and signed RB Arlen Harris. The team also waived WR Scottie Vines from the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list, released T Clint Stickdorn from the practice squad and signed G Stephen Peterman to the practice squad.

Bryson (6-1, 230), sustained a knee injury in Sunday's game against Buffalo. He had played in each of the Lions first six games and registered 98 receiving yards on 8 receptions, including a 37-yard touchdown reception against Green Bay (9/17).

Harris (5-10, 212) spent the preseason with Detroit after signing with the Lions March 22. He had spent his first three NFL seasons in St. Louis playing for Detroit Offensive Coordinator Mike Martz, the Rams' head coach. Harris was released September 9 prior to the regular season opener against Seattle.

Vines (6-2, 214), finished the 2005 season third on the team with a career-high 40 receptions for 417 yards. He was placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list before training camp due to a knee injury where he remained through the first six weeks of the season.

Stickdorn (6-5, 307), had originally signed with the Lions January 2 and was allocated to NFL Europe where he helped the Amsterdam Admirals to their second consecutive World Bowl Appearance. Stickdorn spent the 2006 preseason with Detroit and was signed to the practice squad September 3.

Peterman (6-4, 323), was originally drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round (83rd overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft. He spent his rookie season on their Reserve/Injured List after sustaining a knee injury in the Cowboys' final preseason game. Last season, he was active for three games and contributed on special teams.
