There are a lot of skeptics that think PSU won't get near my 9-3 prediction, but in Paterno I trust.

The Lions are loaded. Conventional wisdom is that they don’t have a proven QB and I agree. What people fail to understand is that they don’t have a system that is reliant on the QB. They ask their QB not to beat them, not to go win one for them. They have some very talented young men and whomever wins the job will do fine because of what they will ask of him.

They have stud Evan Royster at RB and he will get his yards and carry this team. They have immense talent and great coaching, and the Lions won’t be a double-digit win team, but they will be very good. The Lions are a solid team and with MSU and Northwestern, both games at home, I think they have a 9-3 campaign. I think they would lose both of those games if they were not in Happy Valley.
