Three Spartan Wrestlers In Action This Weekend At Junior Freestyle World Team Trials

Foley, Caffey and Rebottaro vying for spot on Junior World team

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Three Michigan State wrestlers will be in action this weekend at the 2018 UWW Junior Freestyle World Team Trials in Rochester, Minnesota.

Redshirt freshman Christian Rebottaro along with freshmen Rayvon Foleyand Cameron Caffey will be in action, vying for a spot on the U.S. Junior World team on Saturday and Sunday at the RCTC Regional Sports Center.

Caffey qualified by placing sixth in the UWW Junior Freestyle bracket at 86kg at the 2018 Open Wrestling Championships last month in Las Vegas, Nevada. Foley was seventh in the 57kg bracket, while Rebottaro took eighth in the 125kg bracket.
