Yzerman makes it official: RETIRED!

The greatest athlete in Michigan history (second only to Gordie Howe) Stevie Y made it official as he retires today. Emotional to say the least, he was humble and kind as always. "Today is a day of mixed emotion. "I have enjoyed my caree here in Detroit...I was drafted in June of 83 and immediately took great pride in being part of this organization and city...I have made a definite decision on my future to let everyone know that I have decided to retire and hang up my skates."
