After playing three tournaments in the span of 21 days in March, the Spartans got some much needed time off at the beginning of April … James Piot (71.52) and Donnie Trosper (71.78) rank first and second, respectively, on the team in scoring average this season and have been the Spartans' top finishers in each of the last three tournaments … Piot, Trosper and freshman Troy Taylor II have played every round of every tournament this season.

"It's obviously a very important week with this being our last regular season event. We're kind of hanging on the bubble here for an NCAA Tournament bid, but the group is back and they've been good. We had a long break, which I think has been good to recharge.

"It's a golf course we're very familiar with and it's a pretty decent field, so we're going to need to finish in the top five and give ourselves a chance to win on Saturday."
