Mizzou Tigers Recruiting Tracker: Check back often as we keep you up-to-date on Tigers news as Missouri looks to improve on an already impressive class.

OCTOBER 21 UPDATE

The Missouri Tigers missed out on a big-time in-state target on Friday when Marvin  the St. Louis (Mo.) Cardinal Ritter blue-chip defender Marvin Burks committed to the Ole Miss Rebels

Burks chose the Rebels over the Tigers, as well as Texas A&M, LSU and Oklahoma.

Before committing to the Rebels, Burks had 28 total offers, and 26 FBS offers, including Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Oregon, Texas A&M, USC, Washington, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.

AUGUST 19 UPDATE

Top Mizzou offensive line target Logan Reichert has revealed the final two candidates for his signature in Missouri and Oregon.

Reichert also announced the date of his commitment for September 8.

Alongside the Tigers and the Ducks, Reichert currently holds offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M, USC, and Wisconsin among many others.

AUGUST 3 UPDATE

Mizzou is working to keep a pipeline player on the SEC track.

A new offer went out this week from the Tiger staff to East Saint Louis (Ill.) High School linebacker Antwon Hayden, he reports via social media.

Hayden is currently an Illinois commitment, picking the program back in March. It was also the only campus the senior linebacker visited officially in the month of June.

The Tigers were one of three official offers to come in, with the others being Illinois and Mississippi State, to which Hayden made social media posts celebrating on Tuesday. He attended the Texas A&M game last fall.

JULY 25 UPDATE

A future Missouri Tiger will cap his high school football career on the national stage.

Brett Le Blanc, the No. 4 long snapper in the nation per Kohl's Kicking, will represent the Tigers at the Under Armour All-America Game in January.

The senior prospect out of Wisconsin, who committed to the program on July 3, earned his offer from the Tiger staff at camp in the month of June. TCU, Tennessee and others were also interested in Le Blanc before his decision.

"Le Blanc’s ability to apply instruction immediately has taken his snapping to an elite level," Kohl says on his website. "He has total command of what he wants to do and the ability to control his body throughout his entire snapping motion. The ball flicks off his hands with the type of velocity I have only seen a couple of times and he always has clean rotation. He finished the Kohl’s Midwest Showcase with an average snap time of .65 seconds and scored on every charted long snap.

"Le Blanc has the size, athleticism and snapping ability to start for any Division 1 program in the country."

JULY 11 UPDATE

One of the nation’s top safety recruits has decided to release his top five, and the Missouri Tigers are still in the hunt. St. Louis (Mo.) Cardinal Ritter’s Marvin Burks just published his list of college choices on social media.

Burks has already taken three official visits, with Ole Miss (June 3), Texas A&M (June 17) and Missouri (June 24) being the schools to already host him.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound safety also has offers from several other programs such as Arkansas, LSU, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Miami, Louisville, Cincinnati, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Penn State, Oklahoma, and Oregon among others.

JULY 9 UPDATE

The Missouri Tigers are attempting to build a football brand. To do that, Mizzou needs to start consistently keeping top in-state talent at home. Today would be a good opportunity to do that with the following pass rusher coming from North Kansas City (Mo.) High School.

Adepoju Adebawore is an agile athlete, as evidenced in the video above, that can play weak side or strong side defensive end at the Power 5 level. Landing him will certainly not be easy considering the recruiting competition.

Pass rushers are always at a premium. That's why even the Georgia Bulldogs are recruiting this young man. Georgia does not often come to the state of Missouri to recruit because it simply does not need to with all the talent inside the Peach State. That does help place Adebawore's talent into perspective, however.

He officially visited Northwestern, Oklahoma, Georgia and Missouri during the recruiting process, and Adebawore is set to announce his college intentions tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. CT.

JULY 8 UPDATE

One of the top offensive linemen in the midwest had made his college decision, and he's heading to the Big 12... for now.

On Friday, Lees Summit (MO) offensive tackle Cayden Green announced his commitment to Oklahoma, picking the Sooners over Missouri, LSU and Nebraska.

JULY 5 UPDATE

The holiday weekend laid ground for major commitments, but also cut-downs from recruits getting closer to a decision.

Such was the case for Jordan Allen, the Kansas-based two-way recruit, who trimmed his list to four programs. Announcing the move via social media, Mizzou remains in the hunt along with Kansas State, Iowa State and Iowa down the stretch.

Allen, listed at 6-foot-4, 240 pounds, took an official visit to Missouri from June 10-12 and was reportedly in Iowa for that official visit to wrap up the month.

The Tigers initially offered the pass rush projection during the spring evaluation period in May.

JULY 3 UPDATE

On Saturday, priority Mizzou target, Lee's Summit (MO) wideout Joshua Manning, had set his commitment day for Sunday July 3 and noon central time.

Now, just hours before he was set to make his choice, Manning has decided to push back that decision.

Manning had 69 catches for 900 yards and 11 touchdowns in his junior season for Lee's Summit

JULY 2 UPDATE

Fresh off of his visit to Columbia, priority 2023 Lee's Summit (MO) wide receiver target Joshua Manning has set his commitment date.

Manning will make his announcement on Sunday, July 3 at noon central time.

Manning currently holds 20 total offers, including Mizzou, Arkansas, Iowa State, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Stanford and Nebraska.

JUNE 28 UPDATE

One of Missouri's top targets will come off the board this weekend.

Jamal Roberts, the Saint Louis (Mo.) St. Mary's star running back recruit, will come off the board on July 3. He announced the commitment plans Tuesday via social media.

Missouri, which just hosted him for Summit weekend, also happens to be the last Power Five offer into the in-state standout. The Tigers jumped in the race officially on June 9, less than a month ahead of the new commitment date.

Roberts also has offers from Florida State, Kansas State, North Dakota State and about a dozen other programs.

Mizzou does not yet have a running back committed in the 2023 class.

JUNE 24 UPDATE

On the cusp of their biggest recruiting weekend of the summer, Missouri welcomed another top recruit to Columbia on Wednesday, in Lees Summit North (Lees Summit, MO) defensive end Williams Nwaneri.

"I think yesterday was the fourth time I've been to Missouri," Nwaneri told Power Mizzou. "This last time, I went with my Dad. So, he got to meet all the coaches and get a little feel for it too. I think he liked it. He got to meet Coach Drink. He pulled us into the office and got to talk to him one-on-one. I think he enjoyed it."

Nwaneri currently holds 19 offers, including Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Michigan, Michigan State, Kansas State, Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota and Mizzou.

JUNE 22, 10:45 AM UPDATE

One of the top offensive line targets for the Tigers has set his commitment date, and his decision is coming soon.

West Bloomfield (MI) guard Amir Herring will make his commitment on July 7, and will choose between Missouri, Michigan, Boston College, and Nebraska.

Herring, who is coming off of an official visit to Michigan, will be taking his official to Mizzou on Friday, alongside several other top Tigers targets, including fellow offensive linemen Cayden Green and Logan Reichart.

It will be his second trip to Missouri since March.

Herring currently holds 23 total offers and is thought to be a Michigan lean.

JUNE 21, 3:07 PM UPDATE

The Missouri Tigers are in the top-12 for standout Norcross (GA) wide receiver prospect Nakai Poole, he announced on Tuesday.

Alongside the Tigers, Pool listed Auburn, Mississippi State, Western Kentucky, Louisville, Purdue, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Michigan State, West Virginia, and Coastal Carolina in his top group.

Last season, Poole recorded 40 receptions for 703 yards and 11 touchdowns for Norcross.

He has 37 total offers to his name.

JUNE 20, 1:45 PM UPDATE

A three-sport star has been targeted by the Tigers.

Nicholas DeLoach Jr., announced his latest scholarship offer via Twitter over the weekend, with Mizzou jumping in on Friday. It appears the offer came via Bush Hamdan, the program's quarterbacks coach.

DeLoach, who also wrestles and runs track in addition to playing wide receiver on Friday nights for Cahokia (Ill.) High School, has added recent offers from Northern Illinois and Northern Iowa of late.

It appears the Tigers are high on the area standout, who averaged 17-plus yards per catch in 2021, before others at the Power Five level.

JUNE 18, 9:45 AM UPDATE

Missouri is still looking for top high school football talent -- quite literally.

As Eli Drinkwitz confirmed on Saturday morning, the program is scouting out recruits at a Mega Camp setting hosted by Northwestern this weekend.

The Tigers have long recruited the state of Illinois and surrounding area, so the weekend is a chance to jump in late on emerging 2023 talent or get the jump early on top underclassmen recruits who impress in person.

The Saturday event, per NU, is called the 'Chicagoland Showcase.'

JUNE 13, 4:30 PM UPDATE

One of the nation's top overall recruits, and a St. Louis native, is returning to Columbia for another visit.

As top contenders nationally battle for Samuel M'Pemba, the IMG Academy two-way star will be back at Mizzou on Tuesday. He announced the news via social media on Monday afternoon.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound specimen is fresh off of a visit to Tennessee after having seen fellow SEC programs Georgia and Florida since April. Notre Dame, Miami and LSU are also considered contenders in the pass-rusher's recruitment.

M'Pemba of course has been a top priority for Drinkwitz and his staff since their arrival at Mizzou. He was last in town for a game in November and also saw campus last summer. The Tigers originally offered back in 2020.

JUNE 9, 11:30 AM UPDATE

An in-state riser is planning on working out in Columbia Thursday.

Pass rusher and wrestler Alex Bray, who preps at Chesterfield (Mo.) Marquette High School, say he will be competing for a scholarship offer. He has been heating up some on the trail, adding offers from Kent State, Murray State, New Mexico State, North Dakota State and others over the last three weeks.

Bray, listed at 6-foot-4, 240 pounds, says he was defensive line MVP at Michigan's camp earlier this week. As a junior in 2021, he was recognized as an All-Conference and All-District performer.

JUNE 8, 7:00 PM UPDATE

The Tigers have offered a rising star in the 2025 class, in Christian Brothers College (St. Louis, MO) wide receiver, Corey Simms.

Missouri was the first Power 5 program to offer the 6-foot-3, 180-pound freshman.

"When I got my first offer, my heart dropped and I felt like I was about to pass out but that could of been because of the weather," he told 247Sports. "It was great because I felt like I accomplished what I have been working for my whole life."

Per the report, Simms is set to attend camps and Mizzou and Notre Dame in the coming weeks.

JUNE 7, 12:00 PM UPDATE

An emerging junior college target has set a visit date to see Missouri.

Butler Community College defensive back Anthony Robinson announced plans to take an official visit to the Tigers for the weekend of June 25. The lengthy talent, listed at 6-foot-3, announced the news via social media.

Robinson has seen his profile rise this spring, adding offers from Indiana, Colorado State, Marshall, Jackson State and Grambling, among others.
