Missouri Golf has 2 Tigers in the Top 20 at General Hackler Invitational: The Buzz, March 17, 2025

The Missouri men's golf team is in 13th place out of 16 teams after the first day of the General Hackler Invitational. With just a two-stroke improvement, the Tigers could move up to ninth place on Monday. Junior Virgilio Paz and freshman Trent Mierl are tied for 14th, each finishing the day with a score of one under par at 71.
Paz previously tied for eighth at the Colleton River Collegiate and finished with a two-over 218 in the tournament. He has led the Tigers in five of the seven events he has participated in this season.
The tee time for Monday is set for 7:55 a.m. CST.

Missouri tennis (10-7, 1-5 SEC) freshman Korina Roso won in her singles match-up after winning 7-6, 7-5 and 6-4 over Salma Drugdova (Texas). Roso's win was the only point Missouri received in their 6-1 loss to No. 13 Texas (10-6, 4-3 SEC).
The Tigers are now 1-17 against the Longhorns and have only scored a combined 13 points in the series. Missouri will head to Florida on Friday, March 21, at 5 p.m. CST.

- The 2025 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving championships will be held from Wednesday, March 19 to saturday, March 22. The 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championship will take place from Wednesday, March 26, to Saturday, March 29, at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Washington. The two championships will begin with the 200-yard Medley Relay and the 800-yard Freestyle Relay and be streamed on ESPN+.
