Nebraska Football Announces Blackshirts Ahead of Ireland Game
Nine Huskers earn the coveted jersey

The first nine Blackshirts have been awarded to Nebraska football defenders.
Those earning the coveted jersey are Caleb Tannor, Ty Robinson, Marques Buford, Quinton Newsome, Luke Reimer, Garrett Nelson, Nick Henrich, Myles Farmer and Colton Feist.
Feist and Buford are first-time recipients. Newcomers such as Ochaun Mathis who have yet to play for the Huskers are likely to get theirs later.
The announcement was made Wednesday as the Huskers hit the practice field in Dublin, Ireland, three days before their season opener against Northwestern.
