A tough schedule for Husker wrestling will also feature hosting the conference’s biggest event.

Nebraska released the 2021-22 schedule Wednesday, and the Huskers will face eight of the top-25 finishers from last season’s NCAA Championships. Lincoln will play host to the Big Ten Championships.

The season kicks off with the Nebraska Duals Nov. 11 against Nebraska-Kearney and Chadron State. The Huskers host North Carolina a week later.

Conference competition will feature eight duals, four home and four away. The first is at home against Purdue on Jan. 7.

Two big conference matches are against Penn State and Iowa. The match with the Nittany Lions will be in University Park either Feb. 6 or 11. A dual with the Hawkeyes in Lincoln will close the regular season Feb. 20.

The Big Ten Championships will take place March 5-6 at Pinnacle Bank Arena before the NCAA Championships in Detroit, Michigan March 17-19.
