Senior wide receiver Chase Claypool was brilliant during the 52-20 Notre Dame victory over Navy. Claypool hauled in seven passes for 117 yards and four touchdowns in just over two quarters of play.

The dominant performance earned him a spot on the Pro Football Focus Team of the Week.

Claypool's four touchdowns tied a Notre Dame record that was set by Maurice Stovall back in 2015.

Here is what PFF wrote about Claypool's performance.

"Claypool and QB Ian Book got things rolling early against Navy as he scored three first-half touchdowns while adding one more in the opening stages of the second half before his day was done. In total, he reached 117 yards on seven catches with four scores and two more first downs. He saw a perfect 158.3 passer rating when targeted in the game as the Irish got past what is looking like the toughest remaining test on their schedule with ease."

This is the third straight week a Notre Dame player earned a spot on this list. Linebacker Asmar Bilal earned a spot last week based on his performance against Duke, and freshman safety Kyle Hamilton earned a spot the week prior for his performance against Virginia Tech.
