Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly addressed the media Monday, and a number of different topics were addressed.

Kelly wanted to focus on Notre Dame's upcoming game against Virginia Tech, but the loss to Michigan still isn't out of the minds of Notre Dame fans, which understandably means it's not out of the mind of the media members covering the team.

When Kelly wasn't being asked about the loss to the Wolverines, the topic turned to quarterback Ian Book, who has struggled against Power 5 opponents all season long.

Kelly stated boldly that Book will remain the starter this season and that he does not believe, right now, that backup quarterback Phil Jurkovec can help the team win.
