Oklahoma guard Austin Reaves has been named to the 2020 Preseason All-Big 12 Team as voted on by the league’s head coaches.

The Arkansas product was the Big 12’s sixth leading scorer last season and averaged 14.7 points a game. Only Baylor’s Jared Butler, this year’s Preseason Big 12 Player of the Year, averaged more points than Reaves among returning players from 2019-2020.

The last time Reaves played, he poured in 41 points on the way to the largest road second-half comeback in conference history. That win helped Oklahoma secure a third-place finish in the Big 12.

Joining Reaves on the Preseason All-Big 12 Team is Butler, Marcus Garrett (Kansas), Cade Cunningham (Oklahoma State), Mat Coleman III (Texas), and Oscar Tshiebwe (West Virginia).

Oklahoma begins the season on Nov. 25 when the Sooners host the UTSA Roadrunners at the Lloyd Noble Center.
