It's going to be a fun game that's going to be played in beautiful weather and the Pokes seem to be playing their best football of the season. Oklahoma State enters this game sitting at 6-3 on the season and with one of the best offenses in the country. The Pokes are averaging 500 yards of offensive per game, but the stat sheet doesn't look like a modern day Oklahoma State stat sheet.

They're averaging 267.7 yards of rushing per game, which is good for No. 9 in the country, but they're ranked No. 70 in the passing game with 232.3 passing yards per game. That certainly doesn't mean that Spencer Sanders isn't a good passing quarterback, but with him being a dual threat quarterback, and with the nation's best running back in Chuba Hubbard, there's not a great need to throw the ball that much.

As for the Pokes' defense, they've really improved over the past three weeks. After giving up a fourth quarter lead to Baylor that led to a 45-27 loss, the Pokes traveled to Ames, IA and upset the Cyclones thanks to multiple forced turnovers in the fourth quarter, including a pick six by linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez.

Then in the next game, the Cowboy defense came up huge again against TCU as they forced several turnovers and came up with big stops when they needed to the most.

As for the Jayhawks, they're led by quarterback Carter Stanley and running back Pooka Williams. Stanley's averaging 223.9 passing yards per game, while Williams is averaging 95.6 rushing yards per game.

As for the defense, the Jayhawks are led by hometown hero Bryce Torneden. He's out of Lawrence, KS and is having a great senior season. The safety has recorded 61 total tackles, 40 have been solo stops.

Another guy to watch is freshman linebacker Gavin Potter out of Broken Arrow, OK. He's recorded 40 total tackles on the season, 30 of which have been solo stops.
