STILLWATER -- It might seem a little early for 2022 offers, but it's never too early to start cultivating relationships with in-state talent and Charlie Dickey is doing just that. The Cowboys have extended an offer to Jacob Sexton out of Edmond Deer Creek in the 2022 class.

Sexton took to Twitter make the announcement Thursday evening.

As mentioned, Sexton is out of Deer Creek High School in Edmond, OK and is a massive lineman already. He checks in at 6-6, 305-pounds and already holds three D1 offers: Oklahoma State, Kansas and Georgia Tech.

Both Oklahoma State and Georgia Tech offered Sexton yesterday, while Kansas was the first to offer back on July 29.

Sexton's been to Stillwater quite a few times over the course of the past six months as he was here for OSU's Down and Dirty Offensive Line camp back in the middle of June, and then back was back in September for the McNeese State game on an unofficial visit.

He's also been to Norman for the Texas Tech and Houston games on unofficial visits.

I don't think it's going to be too long before you really see the offers start to poor in for Sexton. His size speaks for itself, but he's very strong and versatile for a lineman his age and will only continue to get better.

Sexton also wrestles for Edmond Deer Creek, obviously as at heavyweight, and he placed first in the Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference this past year.

Everyone knows how much head coach Mike Gundy loves wrestlers and what's better than having a championship heavyweight wrestler on your offensive line.

He's also currently not ranked in the 2022 class, and I say currently because I don't believe that that will be the case for very long.
