Another Duck is leaving the flock.

Last week it was announced that Victor Bailey Jr. would be the fifth Oregon player to leave the program following last season’s surprise Sweet-16 run.

Now sophomore-to-be forward Miles Norris is following suit, entering his name into the NCAA transfer portal.

Norris finished his freshman season by playing in 27 games, averaging 3.3 points 1.9 points in 10.5 minutes per game. He posted a season-high 14 points in the first game of the Pac-12 Tournament over Washington State, finishing off a run where he helped spearhead Oregon’s late season run.

But he averaged 7.3 minutes per game in the final three games of the conference tournament before playing just four total minutes in the Ducks three NCAA tournament games — prompting his decision to transfer.

Bailey Jr. leaves the Ducks after seeing a big improvement from his first to second season in the green and yellow.

This past year, he averaged 7.4 points and 2.0 rebounds in 19.1 minutes per game — appearing in 37 games with eight starts while shooting a team-best 39.8-percent from beyond the arc.

Norris and Bailey Jr.’s departure — combined with NBA draft declares Bol Bol, Louis King, Payton Pritchard and Kenny Wooten — leaves Oregon with two players currently on scholarship from last season.

Will Richardson and Francis Okoro are scheduled to return after seeing a huge uptick in minutes in the second half of the season, and including recent signees in forwards CJ Walker and Chandler Lawson and guard Chris Duarte, the Ducks are guaranteed at least five players on scholarship next season.

The door isn’t closed on the potential returns of Pritchard, Wooten, Norris and Bailey Jr., and it appears Walker is doing all he can to convince them to stay.
