Marcus Arroyo and the Ducks Know Not to Underestimate the Colorado Defense

While much has been made about the Buff's offense, the defense is one of the better units in the Pac-12, with a couple of big playmakers in the middle.

With a slight change in schedule contrary to a normal week, the Ducks will face off against Colorado on Friday night in Autzen Stadium, making this an abbreviated week to prepare for the Buffaloes.

Though no days of practice were lost, and only an off-day was rescheduled, things are still a bit different as the Ducks look ahead to gameday. For offensive coordinator Marcus Arroyo, this calls for a balance between getting all of the preparation in during the time that they have while trying not to overload his players with too much information.

Arroyo and the Ducks will also have a tough test on Friday night in the form of the Colorado defense, which has nine sacks and six interceptions on the season. Senior Safety Mikial Onu leads the conference with four interceptions, and LB Nate Landman was seventh in the Pac-12 with 104 total tackles last season.
