The Oregon Ducks have now moved into the top 10 of the Associated Press Top-25 ranking, coming in this week at No. 7 following their 37-35 last-second win over the Washington State Cougars.

On a day that saw two top-10 teams lose for the first time, Oregon was able to escape an upset after freshman kicker Camden Lewis knocked a 26-yard field goal through the uprights as the clock ticked to 0:00. A go-ahead touchdown by the Cougars with 1:00 left in the fourth quarter put the game in heavy doubt, but a quick drive down the field led by Justin Herbert kept the Ducks' chances at a berth in the College Football Playoff.

Up next, Oregon will travel to Los Angeles to take on the USC Trojans, where they will face a team that has been very up and down this season, but when they are good, they are very good. So far, the Trojans are the only team to beat No. 9 Utah, and they will give the Ducks a run for their money at home next Saturday.

For the Ducks, a move into the Top-10 is huge, as it puts them right in the mix for a trip to the CFP should they win the final four games of the season, all of which come against lesser teams. If Oregon can come away with a Pac-12 Championship win over the Utes, they will undoubtedly be strongly considered for one of the final spots in the playoffs come December.
