Brennan Milone's RBI double with no out in the bottom of the seventh capped a four-run rally as the Black team walked off the Garnet team, 4-3, in game one of the 2020 Garnet and Black World Series Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 27) at Founders Park.

Garnet took a 3-0 lead into the bottom of the seventh, but Michael Robinson and Noah Myers worked walks to open the frame. Andrew Eyster brought both runners in with a double to the gap in right. Wes Clarke tied the game with a double off the wall in center and Milone ended it with a double to left, scoring Clarke and giving the Black team the walk-off win.

Garnet scored single runs in the second and third frames. Connor Cino's RBI groundout plated Brady Allen in the second. Jack Mahoney then belted a solo home run to the visitor's bullpen to give Garnet a 2-0 lead. Garnet added a run in the sixth as Brandon Fields scored on a wild pitch.

Eyster had two hits and drove in a pair to pace the Black offense.

Julian Bosnic struck out six for Team Garnet in a four-inning start. He allowed three hits with no runs and two walks. Andrew Peters started for the Black team and allowed two runs on just one hit with a pair of strikeouts and four walks. RJ Dantin earned the win for Team Black in relief, while Daniel Lloyd was tagged with the loss.
