Kam Pringle Narrows Recruitment

One of South Carolina's top targets from the 2024 recruiting cycle has cut his list down to six schools, including the Gamecocks.

The South Carolina Gamecocks are in the game for several high-profile recruits from the 2024 recruiting cycle and are primarily looking to utilize their momentum to continue building the trenches.

The Palmetto State possesses two of the best offensive tackles in the country in Dillon High School product Josiah Thompson and the pride of Dorchester in Kam Pringle.

Kam Pringle is coveted by not just South Carolina but some of the best programs in all of college football and could serve as a vital piece to the offensive puzzle for any of his suitors.

With his recruiting process reaching its final calendar year, it looks like Pringle is gearing up for the final stages of the process, as he announced his top six schools on Thursday afternoon, which included South Carolina.

He's a refined run blocker that could come in and remain competitive with 5-techniques in the SEC, although some pass sets could be improved, as Pringle tends to play stiff in his lower body.

College coaching and attention should smooth some things out, but his initial baseline sets him far apart. Pringle measures in at 6-7 and 305 lbs. With his attitude, nothing should slow him down.
