Stanford is in the process of rebuilding what feels like their entire roster, and while many around the country figured it would take new head coach Troy Taylor some time to get traction on the recruiting trail that has not been the case.

In fact, the new head coach and his staff have proven to be quite the recruiters, as after hosting 17 recruits over the weekend on official visits, they have landed 10 commitments. Just eight of these 10 commits have gone public, likely waiting for a graphic to be made, but even with the eight known commitments the Cardinal have seen their recruiting class jump from around No. 60 in the country to No. 24.

The latest commitment from Memphis native Brandon Nicholson will boost their class ranking a couple more sports, as they could end up jumping right below USC at No. 22 in the country. As for Nicholson, the three-star chose Stanford over programs such as Northwestern, Arkansas, Florida State, and Georgia Tech.

Nicholson ranks as the No. 707 player in the country, No. 72 athlete, and the No. 21 player in the state of Tennessee.

In eight games this past season, Nicholson recorded six interceptions, four pass deflections, and also accumulated 23 total tackles.
