COLLEGE STATION - Texas A&M is hoping to compete for a Southeastern Conference title in the new future. Part of that success comes in the form shaping the talent on the field. The other comes in recruiting.

The 2020 recruiting class for the Aggies has several stars on the rise. Wide receiver Demond Demas continues to highlight the class although being rule ineligible by UIL to play this season in Houston, Texas. He now will be joined by two top-level pass rushers to help enhance Mike Elko's front seven.

Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep four-star defensive end Donell Harris officially announced his commitment to Texas A&M. Harris had long planned to make his college commitment on Monday, with Florida, LSU and A&M all in the running.

Harris will join defensive end Fadil Diggs of Camden (N.J.) Woodrow Wilson as one of the top pass-rushing duos in the class of 2020 out in College Station. Diggs announced him commitment to play for the Aggies in October following his visit to Kyle Field.

The Aggies have been one of the consistent members in the mix for Harris during the recruiting process. Thanks to head coach Jimbo Fisher's ties to the during his time at Florida State, the staff was able to act quick on initial conversations.

Harris has played as advertised through his tape during his senior season. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound defender has collected 55 tackles, 21 tackles for losses, 16 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. The Aggies currently rank on 24/7Sports recruiting rankings as the No.7 class for next season.

Harris is now the 20th member of next year's class thanks to his commitment. The Aggies now feature players from nine different states expected to make their debuts next year.
