Texas Longhorn fans will want to keep an extra eye out on Twitter July 16.
That's the date key Texas target and four-star Tuscon, Arizona safety Lathan Ranson will make his commitment announcement.
The Longhorns are a finalist according to Ransom along with Notre Dame, Ohio State, LSU and Oklahoma.
Texas made a good impression on Ransom two weeks ago during an official visit according to some social media posts.
Ransom has been working with current Texas safety Caden Sterns during The Opening this week and the UT standout seems to be making an impression as well.
