The buzz continues to build for Texas commit and current Lake Travis quarterback Hudson Card.

Card ranked No. 2 among attending quarterbacks with a consistent and impressive showing according to experts.

247 Sports' national recruiting analyst Barton Simmons had this to say about Card's performance:

"It was a decidedly good day for the Texas commit. Not only is he one of the best movers athletically among the quarterbacks but he was also one of the most consistently accurate performers, delivering the ball within the catch frame on almost every rep."

Card was offered by UT before he ever made his first start at quarterback at Lake Travis, showing the level of belief the Longhorn coaching staff has in the Cavaliers signal caller.

He is currently ranked as the No. 5 dual threat quarterback.

Next up Card will get a chance to do a little recruiting as he has been paired on the same team as high-priority Texas target and five-star wide receiver Johnny Wilson.

He told 247 Sports' Mike Roach:

"I’m going to try to get him our way for sure. I haven’t ever spoken with him, so it’s a good way to start, he’ll be on my team and we can ball out together.”
