    Texas football: New Orleans Saints promote former Texas standout to active roster

    Lil'Jordan Humphrey added to 53-man roster ahead of trip to Seattle

    Texas football fans will have another reason to watch on Sundays now that former standout wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey has been added to the Saints' 53-man roster. 

    Humphrey signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent and had served on the practice squad before injuries to Tre'Quan Smith and Keith Kirkwood spurred the Saints to call him into action. 

    Humphrey is No. 10 all time in Texas history in receptions. He led the team in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns in 2018 and decided to forgo his senior year and declare for the NFL draft.
