Given that players can now participate in up to four games in a season and still receive a redshirt, we'll update this chart weekly to see where things stand for true freshmen who have gotten on the field.

North Carolina stuck with a smaller rotation again for Thursday night's loss at Pittsburgh, with only 10 true freshmen appearing for the Tar Heels.

Asim Richards, playing in his fifth straight game, crossed the four-game threshold for a potential redshirt, while kicker Jonathan Kim reached the limit.

Running back Josh Henderson and receiver Welton Spottsville, who had previously reached the four-game limit, didn't play vs. the Panthers.

Through 10 games, 12 true freshman have played in more than four games for the Tar Heels.
