While both Ohio State and LSU won last weekend to remain unbeaten, the College Football Playoff committee thought Ohio State’s win over Penn State was enough to place them ahead of LSU as the top team in the rankings. It was the toughest test for the Buckeyes this season and was their first game scoring less than 30 points. SI’s Amy Campbell says both teams have a legitimate case for the top spot.
