After knocking off defending national champion Virginia 54-50 Wednesday night, Leonard Hamilton’s squad exhibited the physical defense depth that’s served as the program’s calling card. The Noles forced 18 turnovers and have been a force on that end of the floor as they’re ranked 18th nationally in Kenpom’s adjusted defensive metric. What’s been equally as impressive is that their offense isn’t that far behind, ranking 35th in adjusted offense.
