The Duke Blue Devils have been ranked in the top ten of the AP Poll the entire college basketball season thus far, but it is far from the same squad that boasted the star-power of Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish. After dropping games to both Clemson and Louisville last week, it marked the first time the Blue Devils lost two-straight games since February 2018 and two straight conference games since February 2017. Mike Krzyzewski compared his young team’s struggles learning on the job during his time in the Army saying that “You learn more by doing the job with your success and failures. So as you become a veteran you eliminate the failures. You have to go through those things.” SI’s Amy Campbell says Duke’s remaining ACC slate could help them eliminate those failures.
