Wake Forest releases 2023 football schedule
The Deacs will face off against Sam Hartman and Notre Dame on Nov. 18
The Wake Forest 2023 football schedule was released on Monday evening, along with the rest of the ACC. The conference is eliminating the Coastal and Atlantic divisions this year, expanding the possibilities for in-conference matchups. Wake Forest's ACC slate is headline by matchups on the road vs Clemson and Duke in addition to home battles against NC State and Florida State. Out of conference, Wake Forest will travel to South Bend to take on former Demon Deacons QB Sam Hartman on Nov. 18 in their penultimate game of the regular season. Check out the full schedule below:
- Spring Game: Saturday, April 15, 2 p.m. ET
- Week 1: vs Elon, Thursday, Aug. 31
- Week 2: vs Vanderbilt, Saturday, Sept. 9
- Week 3: at Old Dominion, Saturday, Sept. 16
- Week 4: vs Georgia Tech, Saturday, Sept. 23
- Week 5: Bye
- Week 6: at Clemson, Saturday, Oct. 7
- Week 7: at Virginia Tech, Saturday, Oct. 14
- Week 8: vs Pitt, Saturday, Oct. 21 (Homecoming)
- Week 9: vs Florida State, Saturday, Oct. 28
- Week 10: at Duke, Thursday, Nov. 2
- Week 11: vs NC State, Saturday, Nov. 11 (Senior Day)
- Week 12: at Notre Dame, Saturday, Nov. 18
- Week 13: at Syracuse, Saturday, Nov. 25
