Each week of the season, I make a prediction about the upcoming Washington Husky football game on “Talkin’ Huskies” Featuring Q13 Sports Anchor Aaron Levine, Michelle Ludtka and myself (Terry Hollimon), Talkin’ Huskies airs every Friday night and Saturday morning on Q13 Fox in Seattle.

This week the Dawgs look to bounce back from a poor performance at Stanford last week as they head down into Tucson to take on the Arizona Wildcats. This game could prove to be the turning point for the Dawgs 2019 season if they are unable to get the job done in the desert.

Arizona will be led by one of the most dynamic dual threat quarterbacks in the nation in Khalil Tate. So far Tate has thrown for 1,088 yards while rushing for an additional 261 yards. The Dawgs will definitely have their work cut out for them trying to contain both Tate and All-Pac 12 RB J.J Taylor.

Defensively, Arizona is near the bottom of the barrel in college football (118th overall defense) The Wildcats are giving up nearly 500 yards of offense per game which could be problematic for them IF the Husky offense gets rolling in this game. The Huskies should have an opportunity to run the ball early and effectively against Arizona which should open things up for Junior quarterback Jacob Eason to throw the ball downfield.

If the RIGHT Husky team shows up this Saturday, the Dawgs should roll the Wildcats with relative ease. However, If the same team that took the field in Palo Alto last week shows up, it could be ugly. Because I got bit by last weeks 21 point win over Stanford prediction, I’m going to land somewhere in the middle this week. The Huskies take the W, with a 35-28 victory in the desert!
