8:00 PM Kickoff
Game time. Word is that Center Nick Harris is out for tonight’s game. This is not good news for the Dawgs. Richard Newton is also out.
Huskies win the Toss and elect to kick. Arizona gets the ball first.
1st Quarter
Huskies D-lineman Levi Onwuzurike makes a huge play on the Wildcats first offensive drive, blocking a punt right up the middle of the line of scrimmage. Huskies take the ball at the Arizona 36 yard line. 12:17 left in the quarter.
The Huskies first offensive possession of the night stalls with a failed 4th down conversion attempt by Salvon Ahmed on the Arizona 26 yard line.
The Huskies strike first with 5:43 left in the first quarter - Peyton Henry hits a 27 yard FG. Dawgs up 3-0.
With 2:22 seconds left in the quarter, th Huskies with come up with a HUGE play on special teams. Arizona punt returner Stanley Berryhill III muffs a kick that is recovered by Husky DB Kyler Gordon. First and goal Huskies from the Wildcat 8 yard line.
The Husky offense fails to make it into the end zone after the muffed punt by Arizona. Peyton Henry hits another FG for the Huskies. He’s a perfect 100% on the season. Huskies up 6-0.
2nd Quarter
The second quarter starts unfavorably for the Dawgs - Aaron Fuller drops a punt that is recovered by Arizona on the Husky 40 yard line.
Arizona attempts a 50 yard FG and it is good. 12:59 left to go in the first half. Huskies up 6-3.
The Huskies drive stalls out on the Arizona 32 yard line. Jacob Eason takes the snap on 4th down for a pooch kick that rolls into the end zone. Wildcat ball on their own 20.
Khalil Tate fumbles the ball on his own 25 yard line and it rolls into his own end zone where Husky LB Brandon Wellington recovers it for the TD. Peyton Henry with the extra point. Huskies go up 13-3.
Khalil Tate zips a 40 yard dart to Jamarye Joiner for an Arizona Wildcat TD. 5:30 left in the half and it’s now 13-10 Huskies.
Poor tackling by the Husky defense to close out the first half results in a perfectly executed drive by the Arizona Wildcat which results in a touchdown. 1 yard run by JJ Taylor. Extra point is good. 17-13 Arizona. 1:06 left to go in the half.
Huskies allow the clock to run out and go into half time trailing 17-13. Khalil Tate 8-15 for 121 yards. Jacob Eason 7-12 for 65 yards. Sean McGrew leads Husky rushers with 3 carries for 50 yards.Hunter Bryant has 3 catches for 45 yards.
Huskies will receive the ball to start the second half.
3rd Quarter
Huskies start the 2nd half with a excellent pass and catch - Eason to freshman Puka Nacua. Husky fans have been waiting for this moment all season..
Huskies take the first drive of the half 75 yards down the field and finish with a 4 yard pass to TE Jack Westover. It is Westover’s first career reception, and its a TD. Extra point is good. Huskies up 20- 17. 10:40 left in the third quarter.
With 7:10 left in the 3rd quarter, the Huskies go 3 and and out (1 for 9 on 3rd down conversions at this point in the game). Joel Whitford kicks a career high long punt of 71 yards from the Husky 12 yards line.
Huskies take advantage of a wildcat fumble caused by Myles Bryant and recovers by Trent McDuffie on the Arizona 36 yard line.

- Freshman linebacker MJ Tafisi suffers an injury that halts the game with 1:39 left in the 3rd. A cart is wheeled onto the field and Tafisi is taken off for medical attention. Scary moment for both teams and all fans.
3rd quarter comes to an end with Arizona threatening to score. 3rd and goal from the 14 yard line.
4th Quarter
Arizona begins the 4 quarter failing to convert a 3rd and goal from the 14 yard line. They have to settle for 3 points. Huskies still up 27-20 with 14:46 left in the game.
Huskies score quickly. Eason to Fuller - 22 yard pass and catch for a TD. Extra point good 34-20 Huskies. 13:07 left in the contest.
Jacob Eason leads a critical drive for the Huskies that results in a 4 yard TD run by Salvon Ahmed. Huskies up 41-20 with 9:54 left in the game.
Arizona QB Khalil Tate throws an interception on first play of the wildcats possession after the kickoff. LB Ryan Bowman picks of the pass at the Wildcat 31 yard line. With 9:43 left in the game.
With 6:59 left in the game Peyton Henry connects for another FG. This time from 27 yards out. Huskies up big, 44-20.
Khalil Tate is done for the day. Greg Gunnell is now under center for the Wildcats with 6:53 left in the game.
POOR tackling by the Huskies late in this contest and Arizona RB Nathan Tilford goes 25 yards for an Arizona Wildcat touchdown. Extra point is good. 44-27 for the Huskies.
Salvon Ahmed scores his third TD of the night on a patient 10 yard run. 2:12 left in the game and the Dawgs are now up 51-27.
QB Jacob Sirmon comes in for Jacob Eason to lead the Huskies in the victory formation. Huskies run the clock out and leave the desert with a victory: 51-27.
