Today was the Huskies first practice following their surprising 23-13 loss to Stanford last Saturday in Palo Alto. The Dawgs now head down to the desert to take on the Pac 12 South leading Arizona Wildcats.

The Arizona Wildcats have had a resurgence since losing the first game of the season to Hawaii. The Wildcats are now 4-1 on the season, and most recently knocked off Pac 12 south foe Colorado, 35-30.

The Husky defense will have a serious challenge this week - as the Dawgs will have to find a way to contain dual threat QB Khalil Tate. The Wildcat offense, led by Tate, is putting up an impressive 539 yards per game in 2019. The Husky linebackers will need to step their game up from where it was last week if the Huskies plan on leaving the desert with a win. We caught up with Husky linebacker coach Pete Kwiatkowski to get his assessment of where the Husky defense stands today, and what his linebackers need to do to be successful vs the Wildcats this weekend.
