Potoa’e Wants Revenge

Benning Potoa’e talks about the upcoming game vs Cal having a little extra significance for him and these Huskies

Washington Huskies defensive lineman Benning Potoa’e still remembers last year’s 12-10 loss vs Cal. It has left an awful taste in his mouth that he has been waiting a long time to get rid of. 

This weekend Benning and the rest of the Washington Huskies are going to have an opportunity to do just that. Although they don’t want to dwell on the past, the 6’3, 290 lb senior can’t help but use last year’s loss to Cal as motivation. “It’s another game but obviously you have that playing in the back of your head” Potoa’e said after Tuesday’s practice.
